The Green Explosion
Eddy is in the kitchen with a blender full of fruits and vegetables.
Eddy: Junior! Come here! I made something amazing for you!
Junior: What is it?
Eddy: It’s a super smoothie! It has spinach, kale, bananas, celery, and protein powder!
Junior: Dad, that sounds terrible.
Eddy: No, no, no. It’s delicious, trust me. You’re going to love it.
Junior: I don’t think I’m going to love it. It’s green.
Eddy: Green is a fun color, Junior.
Junior: Green is also the color of things that taste bad.
Eddy: Just wait. Let me blend it one more time.Junior: Dad, where is the lid?
Eddy: It’s fine, Junior. I don’t need the lid.
Eddy turns on the blender, and green smoothie explodes everywhere. Eddy is covered from head to toe.
Junior: Wow.
Eddy: OK. That was not great.
Junior: You look like a superhero. A really sad, green superhero.
Eddy: Very funny. Can you get me a towel?
Junior: Sure, Dad.
Junior leaves the kitchen. A minute later, he comes back with a towel and a glass of chocolate milk.
Junior: Here is your towel. And here, Dad. I made you a smoothie too.
Eddy: Junior, that is chocolate milk. That is not a smoothie.
Junior: Is it smooth?
Eddy: Well, yes.
Junior: Then it is a smoothie.
Eddy takes a sip.
Eddy: OK, this is way better than mine.
